Orit Gidali is an Israeli poet and picture-book writer. She co-founded 'Sadnaot Habait' - the largest and most prominent school for creative writing in Israel. She was awarded the Dvora Omer Award in 2022, and the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship in 2023. The English collection of her poems, translated and edited by Marcela Sulak, was longlisted for the Pen America Literary Award in 2017.
